Once I am a qualified broker, will I have access to mentoring?
When you become a broker with Redrock, you’ll be an independent operator, which can seem a daunting prospect at first. Fortunately, there is a support system in place for new brokers with less than two years of experience in the industry.
The Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA) requires those who meet these criteria to be assigned a mentor until the mentee gains two years of relevant experience in finance or mortgage broking. This process is fairly straightforward with Redrock, as you’ll automatically qualify for mentoring as one of our Members.
While the mentoring is not compulsory under the NCCP for Credit Representatives, at Redrock Brokers we believe that access to these sorts of services is important for supporting our Members on their journey and helping them to uphold industry standards.
What sort of mentorship does Redrock offer?
Redrock provides two levels of mentorship for our members:
– Our complimentary basic mentoring services are available to all members, designed to provide support and assistance in the running of your new business. This service entails email and phone access to Member support staff.
– Members who opt for our Advantage Model will have access to our premium mentoring program, run in partnership with one of the country’s top registered training organisations. This is well suited for those individuals who are highly motivated to grow their knowledge in the industry and develop their skills under expert guidance.
Our mentoring philosophy is one of flexibility – we take into account each Member’s prior experience, goals and strengths, meaning that we can tailor our offerings to suit your specific needs.
